The Embassy brought together the Nigerian community and its Burkinabe partners to celebrate independence in a friendly atmosphere.
Nigeria became independent on 1 October 1960. Every year, the anniversary is an occasion for Nigerians at home and abroad to celebrate their nation, its unity and the diversity of its peoples and cultures.
For the Embassy, the celebration was also a moment to thank its Burkinabe partners for their friendship and to renew the bond with the Nigerian community living in Burkina Faso, which the Embassy serves every day.
Photographs of the Embassy's events are published in the media library.
