The two governments reaffirm their commitment to strengthening economic exchanges and security cooperation.
Economic exchanges and security are two of the main areas of cooperation between Nigeria and Burkina Faso. In December 2025, during the visit of the Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs to Ouagadougou, the two governments agreed to sustain regular consultations and to pursue practical measures to deepen bilateral cooperation and promote regional integration.
The Embassy will follow up the commitments made at the meeting with the authorities of Burkina Faso. Read more about the relationship between the two countries on the Bilateral relations page.
